Course Selection & Extracurriculars

We recommend at least one counseling session a year to keep you on track. We can help inform you about what colleges are looking for in course selection and extracurriculars. We can also help connect you to opportunities and suggest activities during the school year and during the summer to enrich high school curricular experiences. We help to keep freshmen and sophomores on track.

College Search

Juniors & Rising Seniors

This will include a series of video calls and unlimited email follow ups until the college list is completed. Beginning the search, narrowing the search, and then refining the search to find reach, target, and safe schools. But most importantly, finding schools that you want to go to. What’s most important is finding the right fit. We’ll help you every step of the way.

PSAT/SAT/ACT Sessions

Sophomores, Juniors & Seniors

We offer one-on-one, live sessions in all three tests and all sections. Each session is 90 minutes. By junior year, the GPA is not going to go up much. no matter how much effort your student makes. But putting in some effort to prepare for college entrance exams can pay big dividends.

Common App Review

Juniors & Seniors

We can help go over your Common App (or Coalition App). It’s not just the essays that are important. How you arrange and describe your activities is very important. And it’s a good idea to use the Additional Information section wisely. Let us help you with this application. All you have to do is schedule a video conference, and then we will go over it with you.

College Visit/Interview Preparation

Juniors & Seniors

We can help you make the most out of your college visit, ace the interview, and make the most of your communications with college admissions officers. This service includes a series of mock interviews and feedback with tips for how to maximize this opportunity.

Graduate School Application Personal Statement Review

Grad School Applicants

Graduate school applications are due soon. You will need a personal statement. Some schools also require statements of purpose or statements of intent. We will review each of your statements for effectiveness and for technical errors, and we will provide you with feedback in time for you to brush them up before sending them in. You want your statements to stand out and be highly polished.
